Rejoice, Spring has sprung. The energies and new life of Easter Time and of Spring bless us with increased vitality. The joyful surge of light and life opens us to the rhythms of our own creative forces and to the rhythms of Divine Creation.
Easter is always potentially a powerful time of transformation - a period where we may more easily birth new aspects of our beings; where we may renew ourselves and sharpen our focus and where we may resurrect that within us which has been dead or dormant.

As we are all also currently learning to embody love and light more completely as part of our collective evolution, the powerful influx of Grace that is offered us each Easter is amplified exponentially. This enables us to make dramatic and profound leaps in our personal growth, empowerment and success.

We may utilize this powerful time of heightened Grace to consciously direct energy towards the manifestation of our goals and dreams. Following are some ways of dynamically working with the extraordinary power of this time:

1. Consciously “take the reigns” of your life and determine what areas you want to reshape most immediately. Write them down and detail what you want to have happen.

2. Daily devote time to welcome grace, guidance, healing, spiritual support, growth and release of limiting patterns.

3. From this place of grace and expansiveness, express and affirm your written intentions, with passion and clarity of heart, until you can feel their beauty and power, and the grace holding them deeply within you. Believe in them, and see them as done.

4. When you receive guidance and things begin to change, support it with corresponding action. Remain open and receptive to the growth and to the blessings that follow.

Many of us are experiencing great challenge through this time of increased light. We are preparing to receive glorious gifts as we steadily become the Light Beings we are in Truth. Take heart, though, as this purification by fire is helping us ultimately to create the lives of our dreams.

PAINTING as QUEST for VISION, four-day extended seminar in El Rito, New Mexico, June 21-24, $400 with affordable accommodations. The Vision that we hold in turn holds us in our Life! Life’s meaning, commitment, clarity, and decisions made from value priorities, are all dependent on the over arching VISION. There are times when through crisis we are forced to update our Vision. And times when we choose to make sure our vision has sufficient power to generate and direct what we need. You don’t just sit down at a desk and knock off. You need to relax into an expansive psychic space, New Mexico is the place. Quest is also a living entity. To be in relationship with your Quest requires commitment and trust. As soon as the intent of relationship is established, impediments arise to test the trust. In time the relationship becomes more intimate with complex and intricate interplays. There will be assumptions that will be exposed and negotiated. We will use painting as the vehicle for this questing. We will paint as exploration in the studio and in several local power places, beginning with a large format and then turn our painting into a book. The components of our quest for vision will include setting intention, opening to place, hold trust in relation to trial, receiving and giving back. The journey can be as comfortable or as daring as you choose. Our ground will be Northern New Mexico College Campus in El Rito, New Mexico, a place of powerful natural beauty and diversity that has attracted many artist, performers and writers from around the world for over a hundred years. PAINTING with Mixed Media into PERSONAL THEME: Friday mornings 10-1 April 20-May 23 and Tuesday evenings 6-9 April 24-May 22, 2007 Materials and Techniques Explored: acrylic paints, various drawing materials, encaustic (hot wax), collage, transfers, stencils, stamps, fabric, photograph, metal, monoprint, collograph and found objects. $300 for six-week session covering the materials you will need for initial experimentation. You will supply the supports to work on and will do personal theme research. This session is based on a college class outline and will be rigorous, as well as inspiring for those with a fine art background and with no art making experience. Participants will choose a personal theme to develop through the materials and techniques. We will meet several weeks before the first class to go over individual themes and formats.
