In this four-day Transformational Painting Workshop in the beautiful country near the Chama River, between El Rito and Abiquiu, New Mexico, we will explore the influence of place on the images from the psyche. Using imaginal and creative process techniques with acrylic paints in a large format we will delve into how we perceive ourselves stimulated by the geography, geology, history, cultural and mythology of the area.
Place has a powerful affect on how we perceive ourselves. John Donohue, the Irish poet states that our greatest work is in imagining who we are. Attending to the images that resonance in our being in relation to place, inspires integrates and heals the deepening of soul.
It is becoming more and more obvious that we are living in an extraordinary time which calls for a new vision of who we are to ourselves, to each other and in the world. Transformational Painting is a tool for consciously embodying new ways of being that are more expansive and congruent in the context of the world. From the ecocentric perspective the more we expand the self to include other, be it people, animal, plant, land or the cosmos, the more we realize our true self. The creative process with imaginal journeys opens and enriches our choices and resources as we imagine who we are in the world we are creating.

PAINTING as CREATIVE RESOLUTION
In this 5 Session Transformational Painting Workshop with Majio we will use process painting to access the Transcendent Principle in order to bring new possibilities to a current life situation that feels at an impasse. Painting will bring connection to greater resources and choices while embodying energy of resolution.
